Tractor Pull

The Rodney Fair is pleased to be hosting the Southwestern Ontario Tractor Pullers Association once again this year. If you've never been to a tractor pull, you are in for a treat! Horsepower, diesel fuel, smoke and dirt are the big attraction here! Modified farm tractors, modified 2 wheel drive trucks, and stock 4x4 trucks will be featured at this event, along with street legal pickups, a class for aspiring pullers residing in West Elgin only.

Modified tractors are turbo charged gas or diesel engines, and are turning out anywhere from 200 - 800 horsepower. Weight classes start at 5500lbs, and run up to 9500lbs. Trucks are all naturally aspirated, gas powered vehicles.

Pulling vehicles are hooked to a weight transfer machine, that moves weight from front to back as it is moved forward. The pulling track is 300' long, and if the transfer is pulled this distance it's called a "FULL PULL!"

Trucks and tractors will be arriving from south, midwestern, and central Ontario, and Michigan, with possible entries from Ohio and New York! Our local classes will feature your own friends and neighbours, making their attempt to reach that 300' mark.
